I'm Jennifer Prezioso and as an actress and artist, I am incredibly passionate about bringing my personal experiences to create moments of truth and realness. While studying at Boston University, where I received my BFA in Acting, I fell in love with contemporary language (like that of Sam Shepard, Tracey Letts, David Mamet) and became passionate about Shakespeare's text. I built up my resume playing multifaceted characters, ones who were strong yet incredibly vulnerable. I set out to study at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts where I continued to dive into the works of Shakespeare and restoration comedy. My concentration in Social Psychology supported my character research and interest in the human mind throughout my time at BU. Some of my most challenging roles include Margaret (Margaret of Anjou), Juror #10 (Twelve Angry Men), Pheobe (As You Like It), and Lucy (You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown).
I am presently in the midst of writing my first sketch comedy The Receptionists, based on my real life work experiences. My other interests cater to my visual nature, whether reading, writing poetry, working freelance in casting and home decor, taking photos, or experimenting with healthy recipes. I reside in my hometown of Brooklyn, NY.
